last night.. i got two missed calls from someone unknown. i know it's a house fone because it's 656. anyway.. i called Vanessa and asked her if she called coz she might've called and i was just keeping my hopes up. but when i got home.. i checked my voicemail and BAM! "hey russel it's jon. i was just callin to make plans. but i guess ur not answering so call me back in this same number coz this is my house fone. bye." I WAS ESTATIC. i grabbed my fone and dialed the number. it was busy!!! tried 5 times, still it was busy. so i called his fone and he was like "uhhh... hello???" i was like "JON! it's russel" at that moment i could swear that i was really trembling and shaking.: but we got to talk and stuff.. i have to call him again today because i don't know what to do during homecoming because while we were talking yesterday, you know how girls are supposed to get guys botinere ( idk the spelling), and the guys are supposed to get the girls corsage.. well my date right here is pretty dumb when it comes to that. so this is how the convo went.
Russel: hey, what color of shirt are u gonna wear? coz i have to get u a botinere Jon: uh, white. Russel: aryt. *russel's waiting for jon to ask her what color of her dress is* WASN'T ASKED so i just pretty much said it out loud Russel: oh by the way, my dress is hot pink. just so u know. Jon: oh ok.. so maybe i could just wear a pink tie or something
i was like STUPID!!! u were supposed to say "oh cool. then i guess i have to get a corsage that will match ur dress".. but he didn't say that!! it's ok though.. i'll just talk to him tonight about it.:)
and we're like the worst dates ever. we don't even know who's going with us and we're not gonna go to an after-party.: IT'S SOOOO SAD!
